Realty Firm Director Held for Cheating In Navi Mumbai

 Suresh Jain, director of Metro Developers was arrested on 19th of October 2017  by Turbhe Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) police  and others are absconding including one Shakuntala Kulkarni. The complaint was by a Navi Mumbai based property investor Ketan Chugh, who alleged the three realty firms in cheating and forgery of Nerul plot which he brought in 2008.
Nerul’s plot was purchased by Ketan Chugh from Maya Kaikani at the cost for Rs 14.73 crore and made payment of Rs 25 lakh. According to the FIR, in 2004, CIDCO allotted 3,680 sqm plot in Nerul, to Kaikani.
As Chugh waited for Cidco’s approval, he get to know that Metro Developers was started selling flats in a tower on the plot. Later he got know that Kulkarni had entered into deal with Cidco and the ownership was changed and ended with Metro in 2015.
