Rush Hour @ Thane Property 2010
The scorching sun couldn’t prevent the discerning home seeker from visiting MCHI-Thane’s tenth edition of Property Exhibition. The grand event has grown from strength to strength and this year sports a brand new look like the new age Thane city it represents.
Over 12,000 people had visited the mega housing exhibition on Day 2. The first thing that the organizers did on Sunday was to order for a reprint of the Entry Passes. This is definitely a sign of positivity both for the developers and home seekers.
On Saturday evening at close, data collated from various participating developers revealed that 257 flats were sold out till then. Most of the chunk comprised of the Rs. 25 lakhs to Rs. 35 lakhs range. Super luxury and luxury homes had its fair share too.
Financial institutions had a string of visitors to their stalls. More than half of the visitors to these various banks and financial institutions compared and analyzed the options available before them. Easy availability, rate of interest, tenure and EMI were the key parameters that formed the basis of visitors to choose a particular bank over the other. The maximum loan request for was in the range of Rs. 20 lakhs to Rs. 30 Lakhs. If this is any indication, then the mid segment homes are the key drivers of the realty sector in Thane.
Hordes of visitors also thronged the low budget home providers. Developers promoting less than Rs. 20 lakh apartments were crowded all through the day. If Day 2 triggered residential sales, enquiries and bookings Sunday was a complete departure from it. The visitor’s profile inclined towards corporate czars and head honchos of blue chip organizations. For those who were considering cost cutting measures found some very interesting options in Thane that could save millions for their respective organizations.
Sunday also witnessed visits by politicos including Shri Eknath Shinde, MLA. Joining the visitors bandwagon were celebrities too. Famous Director Mahesh Manjarekar was absolutely astonished with the kind of projects that were on display at this grand property show. Elaborate security measures and increased valets for parking have been arranged to handle the enormous visitors expected this Sunday evening.
