State directs officials to make proposal for 169-hectare Textile Park

Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Monday issued instructions for preparing the entire proposal for the creation of a textile park on the additional 169 hectares of Mahagenco in Koradi area in the next 15 days.

Regarding Textile Park in the Nagpur Improvement Hall, Minister organized a meeting with Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA), Mahagenco, Directorate of Textile Industries and Industrial Development Corporation and senior officials of the industry department.

Nagpur Municipal Corporation has been selected as a nodal agency and will look after the 169 hectares of space on the textile park and will submit the necessary document within 15 days, said an official in the meeting.

Minister also directed to make available space for commercial and industrialists in the Gandhibagh area at Textile Park.

Sheetal Ugale, Commissioner of Metropolitan Development Authority informed about the proposed Textile Park in Koradi. In the context of Textile Park, a meeting of all the concerned departments is prepared and the plan is prepared.
