State set up 5 member committee to prepare new industrial policy

Industries minister Prasadi Lal Meena has asked the Industry Commissioner Dr. K.K. Pathak to prepare a new industrial policy in the state and announced a five-member committee

In the new industrial policy, more emphasis will be on the industries that provide balanced development and provide maximum employment opportunities in the entire state, he said.

The committee will present the proposal of new industrial policy to the government within 30 days.

Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Subodh Agrawal said that the order of the five-member committee has been issued to prepare the new industrial policy. He explained that with the proposed new industrial policy investment oriented, as well as employment oriented, it will be stressed so that more employment opportunities are available for the youth as well as new industries in the state.

Agrawal informed that to provide dialogue and suggestions to the industrial organizations and to organize regular meetings, to make the state government aware of progress, to provide employment opportunities in backward areas and to provide balanced industrial development opportunities across the state. Has been asked to keep in mind.

The committee constituted has been appointed Member Secretary, Riico, Commissioner of Investment and Non-Resident Indian, Special Principal Secretary MSME, Member and Additional Director, PK Jain has been made Member Secretary.
