TNRERA issues notices to 6 incomplete housing projects

The Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory (TNRERA) have come across of six non-completion housing projects in the edge of the city, which have not been registered with the regulator, with the aid of buyers complaint the regulatory body detected six incomplete projects. Incomplete ongoing housing projects that do not possess completion certificate (CC) must register with TNRERA.

Notices were issued to six promoters following complaints from buyers over the delay in handing over their apartments, said the official sources.”Of these, three housing projects are in Padur and Tiruporur on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), falling under the limits of the Directorate of Town and Country Planning (DTCP),” the official said.

The TNRERA has sent the official letter to all the projects that secured planning permission from the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) since 2015. The move will confirm how many promoters have not received CC and yet to register with the TNRERA.
