After Shilp Mela, Vasant Mela has hit at Urban Haat in CBD Belapur. The nineteen day exhibition has began on 23rd February and will wrap up on 13th March.
Handloom products like chanderi and bhagalpuri sarees, dress materials, bed sheets and other household products can be bought at this exhibition. Around 50 artisans from 15 states including Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Kolkata, Orissa, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Gujarat, Karnataka, Haryana, Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh have set up stalls here and are selling their goods at affordable rates.
Moreover, the exhibition also has mouth-watering cuisines from Malvan, Kolhapur and Rajasthan for food lovers. Besides, many cultural programmes too are organised for citizens in the evenings on weekends.
Urban Haat is not just a shopping destination but in fact a place to rejoice, relax and meet nature. It has thus become an ever permanent Haat for rural Indian craftsmen to display their special handloom & handicraft products directly to the citizens of Navi Mumbai.
